PROFESSIONAL COOK TRAINING

The Program:
  • 6 Month Training Program Based on BC's First Year Apprenticeship Cook Outline.
  • 18 weeks of Cooking Theory and 6 Weeks of On-the-Job Training in Local Hotels, Restaurant, Catering and Institutional Settings
Certificates:
  • Food Safe Level 1, Occupation First Aid Course
Eligibility:
  • Must be currently receiving Income Assistance Benefits
  • Intermediate English skills required
  • In good physical health, able to meet the demands of the industry
  • Motivated to gain employment in the Food Service Industry
