PROFESSIONAL COOK TRAINING The Program:
- 6 Month Training Program Based on BC's First Year Apprenticeship Cook Outline.
- 18 weeks of Cooking Theory and 6 Weeks of On-the-Job Training in Local Hotels, Restaurant, Catering and Institutional Settings
Certificates:
- Food Safe Level 1, Occupation First Aid Course
Eligibility:
- Must be currently receiving Income Assistance Benefits
- Intermediate English skills required
- In good physical health, able to meet the demands of the industry
- Motivated to gain employment in the Food Service Industry
